Cultural, walking trekking, home stays and Family
Safaris can be fun, exciting, adventurous and safe.
Our
Family and cultural safaris are fun and educative. In 14 days
you will become a "family member" of a local family. You will take
part in the daily activities of your host family. In between you can
choose to go for wood carvers lessons (taught by the famous Makonde wood
carvers), learn to cook traditional dishes, visit tea plantations,
pottery or visit a children's home.
Game safaris or a
relaxed beach holiday are a
prefect combination
to the these other .
Walking or
trekking safaris can be
as short or as long as you want them to be, from three hours to
five days. For your early morning walks ( children under 12 years not
permitted) in the park
you will be
accompanied by an armed game ranger. This will take you through a wide
part of the
park or
game
reserve,
breathing
in the intoxicating smell of
the African bush: a mixture of the earth and the animals. You will not
only try to identify the different animal spoor but your guide will
share with you his knowledge of the different flora in the reserve
and different
medicinal
plants and trees used by the local people.
