Day 1.         On arrival in Dar es Salaam International Airport, meet and greet by Msafiri Travels Guide and transfer to Hotel, bed and breakfast 

Day 2:         Have breakfast with the tour manager and discuss the itinerary. Thereafter head on to Selous Game Reserve. Overnight at Loge/campsite, full board, one evening drive. 

Day 3:         Start the day with an early morning walk and end the day with a full game drive. Picnic lunch will be provided and return to the camp just in time for dinner. Overnight at Lodge/Campsite, full board. 

Day 4:         Boat safaris on the Rufiji River bring you as close to the aquatic animals as possible. Evening game drive and overnight at Lodge/ Campsite, full board. 

Day 5:         After breakfast depart for Kilwa. Depending on time of arrival, Town tour. Overnight at the Kilwa Ruins, full board 

Day 6:         An early start as we head toward Mtwara our last town in Tanzania before crossing to Mozambique. This will be a full days’ drive. Over night at Old Boma Hotel,full board 

Day 7:         Cross the boarder at Rovuma and into Mozambique and to Micomboa de Praia In spite of the war that ravaged Mozambique for many years, the Mozambican people are very friendly and welcoming. Spend the evening talking to the local People. Overnight will be at Miramar. This is very basic but clean accommodation, full board.

Day 8:         We head on to Pemba the diving Mecca of Southern Africa. The Coral Reef is Wimbe is regarded is as one of the best in Southern Africa. Enjoy the vast white unspoilt beaches of Wimbe. Overnight at Hotel, bed and breakfast.

Day 9:         Take the traditional dhow and sail off to Ibo Island. Enjoy the white sandy beaches. Overnight in guesthouse, full board.

Day10:        This day will be at leisure and you can choose to go diving or simply relax on the beach. The diving is lead by a well-qualified PADI instructor. Overnight at Hotel/, bed and breakfast. 

Day 11:       Ilha de Mozambique: This is where modern Mozambique derived its name. Time seems to have stopped here. The pace is slow and history and culture surrounds you. Ilha de Mozambique is definitely one of the most historical destinations in this part of Africa.  Unesco has declared this beautiful Island a World Heritage Site. Overnight in a HOTEL, bed and breakfast.

Day 12:      Day will be at Leisure.  Overnight at HOTEL, bed and breakfast.

Day 13:      Head southwards to Nampula the northern Capital. Visit the Makonde carvers market and purchase some of thee best carvings from Africa. Overnight a Hotel, bed and breakfast. 

Day 14:      The scenery is beautiful with traditional villages lined along the way.  The Town of Cuamba is very lively with wide streets and colourful market. Overnight at the Hotel, bed and breakfast.

Day 15:      We start the day early, and head towards Mandimba, the boarder post between Malawi and Mozambique. After boarder formalities we cross to Mangochi. This will be along day’s drive to Mangochi. Relax and enjoy the waters of Lake Malawi. Overnight at Beach Resort,half board.

Day 16:      Arrive in Lilongwe mid afternoon. After check- in into your hotel and there after go for a city tour. Lilongwe is a very pleasant clean and safe city. Overnight in  Hotel Bed and breakfast.

Day 17:      South Luangwa National Park is the Premier Park in Zambia covering 9050 km sq. This park is renowned for it’s unspoilt beauty and varied habitats and supports one of Africa’s richest concentrations of game and birdlife. The Luangwa River, the main lifeblood of the Luangwa Valley meanders down the middle of the valley creating numerous ox-bow lagoons.

Game activities are in open vehicles in small parties twice daily. The night drives with spotlights are one of the highlights of the Valley giving the chance to see nocturnal animals particularly the leopard for which the area is now famous. Overnight at Lodge/ Camp, full board, one night drive on this day

Day 18:     Morning walk and with one day drive. Overnight at Flat dogs Camp, full board.

Day 19:     Morning and one night drive, Overnight at Lodge/ Camp, full board

Day 20:     Return to Lilongwe mid afternoon and over night at Hotel.

Day 21:     Transfer to airport for flight home.
