A booking with Msafiri Travels is confirmed only once full payment has been received and a written confirmation has been issued by our team. Verbal or email discussions about departure dates and itineraries do not constitute a confirmed booking.

Your booking reference is issued at the point of confirmed payment. Please retain this reference for all correspondence. It is used to identify your reservation, retrieve your itinerary, and process any changes or cancellations.

All prices quoted by Msafiri Travels are in US Dollars (USD) and include the items explicitly listed in the package inclusions. Park entrance fees, where stated, are included. Items listed under exclusions, such as international flights, visas, and personal travel insurance, are the traveller's responsibility.

Payments are processed through Pesapal, our licensed payment partner. We accept major credit and debit cards. By completing checkout, you agree to Pesapal's payment terms in addition to these terms. Msafiri Travels does not store full card details.

If a payment is marked as pending following checkout, the Msafiri team will verify the transaction status with Pesapal. If payment is not successfully verified within 48 hours, the reservation may be released and the departure slot made available again.

Safari departures operate subject to availability of accommodation, park access, and ground service providers. In rare cases, Msafiri Travels may need to substitute an accommodation, adjust a route, or modify a departure date due to factors outside our control, including national park regulations, weather conditions, or supplier availability.

Where a significant change is necessary, we will notify you as soon as possible and propose an equivalent alternative. If you do not accept the proposed alternative, you may request a full refund of the amount paid.

You are responsible for ensuring that all members of your travel group hold a valid passport with at least six months' validity beyond your planned return date. Entry requirements, visa arrangements, and health documentation, including any required vaccinations, are the traveller's responsibility.

You are also responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or dietary requirements before your departure date. Msafiri Travels will make reasonable accommodations where notified in advance. We cannot guarantee accommodation for requirements disclosed after confirmation unless logistically possible.

If you need to change your travel dates, group size, or package selection after booking, please contact the Msafiri team at info@msafiritravels.com as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may involve a price difference.

Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure are eligible for a refund minus any non-recoverable supplier costs already incurred. Cancellations made within 30 to 60 days of departure are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of departure are non-refundable. These terms apply per booking reference.

Msafiri Travels reserves the right to cancel a departure if minimum group numbers are not met, or in the event of safety concerns. In such cases, affected guests will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

Entry requirements for Tanzania, Zanzibar, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe vary by nationality and change periodically. It is your responsibility to verify current visa requirements, obtain necessary visas before travel, and ensure all travel documents are in order.

Msafiri Travels provides general guidance on entry requirements as a courtesy. This guidance does not constitute legal or immigration advice. We accept no liability for costs arising from incorrect or outdated information about visa requirements, or for denied entry at any border or port.

Msafiri Travels strongly recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Your policy should cover medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, personal liability, and loss or theft of belongings.

Medical evacuation from remote safari locations can be costly. Guests without appropriate insurance travel at their own risk. Msafiri Travels accepts no liability for costs arising from medical emergencies, evacuation, or trip interruption where travel insurance was not held.

Msafiri Travels acts as a safari operator and coordinator. While we select and work with reputable service providers, we are not the direct provider of accommodation, vehicle transport, or park services. Our liability is therefore limited to the direct services we provide.

We accept no responsibility for personal injury, loss, damage, or expense resulting from events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, illness, flight delays, or wildlife encounters. Travel to wilderness environments carries inherent risk that no operator can fully eliminate.

Msafiri Travels may revise these terms and conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. If changes are material, we will notify guests with active bookings by email.

Continued use of our website or services after a change to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated version. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.
